This was used by anyone who carried the colt 45. It was made of a russet leather (Early/Mid war) and
dark brown. (Late war.) It was either stamped U.S. or USMC. Every officer, NCO, Tank personnel and Paratroopers
all had one. Most units wont even let a private poke one. If you want the satisfactory of carring a side
arm than tak to your unit commander. The repo holster from Bayonet Inc. Cost me 30 dollars and it was
the best purchase I had ever made. So if you want one, That is the place to get it.
