The blanket was made out of a common military material. WOOL! Basically the overcoat was made
out of the same material. Well, lets get on with the blanket. The blanket was designed for
cold, hot and barracks. A soldier was issued six, but most of those were left with the company HQ. Only
one was used in the roll for the pack carrier. The blankets have a slight U.S. stamp on the top and a
white tag on the side. Some soldiers became so cold that they ripped their bankets and created scarves
and wraps with them. They can be found from 15 to 35 dollars. Remember! It does not have to be mint!
It only has to keep you warm!
