This belt carried 12-20 round mags for the Browning Automatic Rifle or BAR. The belt was so heavy when
fully loaded. It used a strong pair of M1936 suspenders and a pair of strong sholders to carry the weight.
Most soldiers who used the BAR wanted to run into an infantry column and go trigger happy to lighten
the load. The BAR belt can be found for 20 to 50 dollars. If you are reenacting and using a BAR belt,
a good pair of suspenders is a must! If you have a weak pair, I'll bet my bottom dollar that they would
