Another name for the knife, fork and spoon is the eating irons. An infantry man would not want to go
into the bush without these!
They were made out of stainless steel. They were either stowed away
in your haversack or thrown in your pockets. If you weren't wearing your pack these were put in your
pockets!
The set can be found for 8 to 15 dollars. You can maybe save some money if you look around.
The set sold separately would cost 5 for the knife and 1 to 4 for the fork and the spoon. REMEMBER! You
don't need a perfect set! They only have to be good enough to pick up the food. REMEMBER! These are not
for show! These are for you to eat with! You can show them on a pack display.
